Photoshop CC2018 Curvature Pen Tool

Photoshop CC2018 has just been released and with it comes some new features. One of which is the curvature pen tool.

Here is a brief video showing it in use and comparing it to the standard pen tool.

At this stage, I have to say that I’m not sure if it is going to take over as my goto pen tool, but along with the animated image tips, it may just be one of those features that Adobe have added to make the Photoshop learning curve a little less steep.

As a final note, I do mention the pen paths options in passing. The ability to change the colour of UI elements is very welcome, as is the ability to set the width.
