Clearing Dreamweaver’s Cache in CS4 on Mac OSX
After an error created by installing the new ThemeDreamer extension, I had to clear the cache on Dreamweaver. I’m on a Mac, currently running 10.5.8 and this is where you find the file:
Macintosh HD > Users > user > Library > Application Support > Adobe > Dreamweaver CS4 > en_US (language) > Configuration.
Once you are there, ensure Dreamweaver is closed, then delete the file called MacFileCache-*.dat (•is a number that will vary.)
Restart Dreamweaver.
Other locations for the MacFileCache (and WinFileCache) are:
Dreamweaver CS4 on Windows Vista:
C:Users[username]AppDataRoamingAdobeDreamweaver CS4Configuration
Dreamweaver CS3 on Windows Vista:
C:Users[username]AppDataRoamingAdobeDreamweaver 9Configuration
Dreamweaver CS3 on Windows XP:

Dreamweaver 8 on Windows XP:

Dreamweaver CS3 on Macintosh:

Dreamweaver has been lately my personal goto software for years. I really don’t know what I would undoubtedly do without it. There were periods when I first begun utilizing the software, and I thought it was way too complex. Now I fly around it, and it has become a good asset in my personal tool box. At any rate thank you for the posting.
